Three coaches of a goods train derailed near Vapi station in Valsad, affecting rail traffic between Ahmedabad and Mumbai for 2-3 hours, railway officials said.

The train was carrying cement bags from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. There were no casualties and traffic has been restored.

As one of the coaches fell onto the Mumbai-Ahmedabad line, the traffic on that track was stalled.
