The convention, to be organised by the Central Information Commission (CIC) at Vigyan Bhawan, to mark the completion of a year of the implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act will be attended by stake holders from all over the country, CIC secretary Rita Sinha told reporters on Tuesday.

“We want the Prime Minister to attend the valedictory session because by then various suggestions and ideas will come up to bring necessary changes in the Act.” A four-panel discussion on issues like “one year of RTI-taking stock — its success and shortcomings” will be the highlights of the programme.
