Three killed and several others were injured when a bus in which they were travelling fell into a river due to a bridge collapse near Jetpur.

Three killed and several others were injured when a bus in which they were travelling fell into a river due to a bridge collapse near Jetpur in the district, police said on Monday.

The incident occurred late on Sunday night when a Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus carrying at least 30 passengers plunged into the river following a bridge collapse due to incessant rains, they said.

The bus was on its way to Rajkot from Junagadh when the mishap occured, they said.
