Three die of dengue in Delhi, toll 55

A total of 8,352 people are suffering from the mosquito-borne disease in the country, with Delhi alone registering 2,537 cases.

Dengue claimed three more lives in Delhi, taking the total toll on the city to 55. Seventy-nine new cases were reported in past 24 hours.

Sumant Kumar, 15, and Sanjay Dubey, 26, died at AIIMS. "The third victim had was an out-of-station patient who had come to Delhi for treatment," said Dr NK Yadav, municipal health officer.
