Three sentenced to 3 yrs of imprisonment for cow slaughtering

A local court today convicted three persons for slaughtering cows and sentenced them to three years of imprisonment.

The Additional District Sessions Judge S K Banergi also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the accused after holding them guilty.

According to prosecution, five persons were arrested on August 15, 2007, from Baghra village in the district. Cow meat was also seized from their possession.
