A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped on Saturday night on the outskirts of Agra.
The victim and her parents were attending a wedding ceremony in Shankar Nagar area of Agra. She was reported missing at around 10 pm. The family launched a search for the girl and was found in Kalindi Vihar and in poor health.
A case has been registered against unknown person(s) under section 376 of the IPC and the POCSO Act at Itimad-ud-Daula police station. A police officer said that prima facie, someone known to the girl might be behind the crime.
