Hundreds of Tibetans from across north India on Saturday gathered in New Delhi to pray for those killed in their homeland during anti-China protests.
Some youths staged a street-play depicting the Chinese "atrocities" in the Himalayan region.
About 5,000 refugees sat for an inter-faith prayer meet at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, where Tibetans are holding demonstrations to protest Chinese crackdown in Tibet.
The inter-faith prayer was led by Swami Agnivesh.
Terming the gathering as the "voice of the oppressed", Dorjee, Member of Parliament of the Tibet government in exile, said, "this is a non-violent protest against the atrocities of China on Tibetans."
"China has been violating human rights since decades. The time has come for China to stop all these killings, all these oppressions," alleged Dorjee.
"The Chinese government does not wish to expose the real situation inside Tibet to the outside world. Not only are people deprived of their human rights, lawyers are deprived of exercising their rights to practise law and offer their legal assistance to the innocent Tibetan prisoners," said the MP.
