Though Hashmi's grandmother and father don't like to see him kissing on-screen, his films are a hit among the younger generation. Recalling his first attempt at kissing, when he was in class nine, Emraan reveals it was very embarrassing. "Our teeth clanked and we just could not kiss each other properly," he said.
