Her car was forced to halt despite the fact that she had a valid smart tag device, she said. Singh, who has filed a complaint in the Udyog Vihar police station, is seeking action against the erring collection agent.

“I was going towards Delhi around 3.30pm with my driver. I had to wait in queue for more than 20 minutes despite having a valid tag. When we tried to cross after the beep, the boom barrier fell on my car,” the Gurgaon resident said.
It was after this that the one of the toll attendants ran after her car, forcing her to stop.

Singh said, “He told us to park the car on the side and starting abusing my driver. It was not our fault and when I got out, he was very rude and misbehaved with me as well.”

Satender Singh, SHO of Udyog Vihar police station, confirmed that Shabnam had reported the incident. “I would call both parties to record their statements and act accordingly.”
