TRS turns march-to-assembly into 'victory march'

Buyoyed by the Centre's yielding to the demand for a separate Telangana state, Telagana Rashtra Samiti tonight decided to convert Thursday's proposed march-to-Assembly called to press for the statehood into a "victory march".

"We have decided to convert tomorrow's Chalo Assembly into a victory march", seniormost TRS leader T Harish Rao told reporters here.

The authorities have mounted an elaborate security ring in Hyderabad tomorrow to ward of possible violence by TRS
activist and pro-Telangana supporters during the march-to-assembly agitation.
