Two arrested for impersonating as food officials

Two person were arrested in Indore today for allegedly impersonating as food department officials and demanding bribe, police said.

The accused -- Jitendra Panchal and Abhijit Raochaudhary -- posing as food department officers had allegedly threatened the employees at a toll tax check post and demanded Rs 6,000 from them.

They were arrested following a report by the employees, they said, adding the duo claimed that they worked for a monthly newspaper.
