Two bank officials shot dead, cash looted in Bihar

In two separate incidents, unidentified miscreants shot dead two bank officials in Bihar and fled away with cash worth Rs 6 million.

In two separate incidents, unidentified miscreants on Wednesday shot dead two bank officials in Bihar and fled away with cash worth Rs 6 million.

In the first incident, the cashier and security guard of the State Bank of India's Muzaffarpur branch were shot dead in broad daylight while they were bringing cash in a car. The driver was also injured seriously and was admitted to a hospital.

The miscreants then ran away with Rs 3.8 million.

In another incident, Rs 2.2 million was looted from the United Bank of India's Mohaddipur branch in Samastipur district. No casualty was reported.
