Two bodies of Naga militants recovered in Manipur

Bodies of two Naga militants have been recovered from Sakkok village in Manipur's Ukhrul district, official sources said on Friday.

Sources said that the two militants were killed in the encounter between 23rd Assam Rifle personnel and the militants on Wednesday at Sakkok village and the bodies were recovered on thursday, the sources said.

With this a total number of three bodies of Naga militants have been recovered following the encounter so far.

Two of the bodies were sent to the district hospital at Ukhrul for post mortem, official sources said.
