Announcing this at a press conference, the two said they were forced to quit the BSP as it was neglecting the interests of the Patel community.

Praising SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Singraur brothers said the State Government’s stress on development, specially related to education, had prompted them to join the party and further strengthen the hands of Yadav.

It is to be noted that both Suresh and Kamlesh run several educational institutions in the district.

They had been associated with the Bahujan Samaj Party since long.

While appreciating the State Government’s announcement about unemployment allowance, Suresh said Mulayam Singh had done a lot for students.

He also flayed the autocratic style of functioning of Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati. MP from Phulpur Atique Ahmed, MP from Chail Shailendra, district president Jokho Lal Yadav and several other Samajwadi Party leaders were present on the occasion.
