Two coaches of Super fast Ambedabad bound Shatabdi express caught fire at 10.00 am on Wednesday while maintenance work of the train was under progress at the Mumbai Central.

The Western Railway Spokesperson Bhagwat Dahisarkar said in Mumbai that at around 10.00 am while maintenance work of the train was going on, two bogies of the train caught fire.
Fire was brought under control within two hours with the help of two fire engines and two water tankers. However, there was no casualty.
Mr Dahisarkar said the Shatabdi Express, which was scheduled to leave for Ahmedabad at 6.25 am from Mumbai Central, was rescheduled at 9.00 am after attachment of two spare coaches.
Cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and the investigation is in progress, he added.
