Two girls were kidnapped and gangraped allegedly by five youths near Bhatgaon village.

Two girls were kidnapped and gangraped allegedly by five youths near Bhatgaon village, police said on Friday.

The incident took place on Thursday evening when the two girls, both friends, were out for a walk near Bagru village about 15 km from here, they said.

According to the police, five car-borne youths, four of them from Bagru and one from Tihar Khurd village, allegedly abducted the girls and gangraped them at a deserted place near Bhatgaon village.

The girls were then let off by the youths who managed to escape after the incident, police said.

After medical examination of the girls, a case of kidnapping and rape has been registered against the five youths.
