Two Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HUJI) militants, including a self-styled District Commander, were arrested by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district on Saturday.

The two were arrested during searches conducted by Rashtriya Rifles troops in Sundar-Pinjari forest belt in Dachan area at around 1600 hrs, an army spokesman said.

With their arrests, the entire HUJI terror outfit had been eliminated in Kishtwar district, he said.
A Pika gun and some ammunition were recovered from their possession.
The two were identified as Shabir alias Imran, a self-styled HUJI District Commander, and Zakir alias Khalid, the spokesman said.
