Two injured as foot over bridge collapses in Raipur

Two persons were injured when a pillar of an under-construction foot over bridge collapsed at Uslapur railway station at Bilaspur, 120 kilometers from Raipur.

Two persons were injured when a pillar of an under-construction foot over bridge collapsed at Uslapur railway station at Bilaspur, 120 kilometers from Raipur on Saturday, police said.

Bilaspur SP Vivekanand Sinha told PTI over telephone that a pillar of the bridge, which was under construction, collapsed on Saturday by injuring two persons, who were admitted to hospital. Their condition is out of danger, he added.

Sinha said that investigation into bridge collapse was on and action will be taken against those responsible for it.
