Two killed, ten injured in mishap in Jaipur

Two persons were today killed and ten others injured when a mini bus in which they were travelling overturned near Koila village in Rajasthan's Baran district, triggering protests by angry villagers who set the bus on fire.

The bus was on its way to the Koila village from Baran, 334 kms from Jaipur, when the incident occurred, the police said.

Soon after the incident, angry villagers set the bus on fire.

The fire has been doused and situation is under control, the police said.

The deceased have been identified as Leeladhar (12) and Rajkumar (17), both were residents of the same village, the police said.

Injured are admitted to government hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger, they added.
