Two more LeT terrorists arrested in Ahmedabad

The arrests have brought the number of terrorists detained from Ahmedabad to four since Monday.

Police arrested two more suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, taking the total number of arrests of LeT activists in Ahmedabad to four since Monday, a senior police official said on Tuesday.

"Two more operatives of a sleeper cell of LeT, operating in the state have been arrested. These arrests are significant and were made on the basis of information revealed by those arrested on Monday," Crime Branch Joint Commissioner P Pandey said.

Two suspected LeT terrorists-Ilyas Memon belonging to Ahmedabad and Khalid Kashmiri of Jammu and Kashmir-were arrested on Monday from Kalupur area of Ahmedabad and several documents were seized from their possession.
