Two more people have tested positive for the swine flu in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of H1N1 influenza cases to 54 in the state, health officials said on Wednesday.

One girl has so far succumbed to swine flu in Kashmir.
Four suspected cases of swine flu were reported from the state, two of them have tested positive, they added.
The two are students of Government Medical College here and have been put on Tamiflu and their condition is stated to be stable.
"All the patients who tested positive to swine flu have responded well to Tamiflu and they were improving after receiving treatment," RS Charak, Nodal officer for dealing with swine flu matters said, adding government has enough stocks of medicines to treat influenza.
