Two persons, including a child were killed in separate accidents in the city in past 24 hours, police said on Friday.

Shamiullaha (32) died on the spot when the motorcycle on which he was travelling was hit by a truck in Ahirauli village, they said. In separate accident 8-year-old Vivekanand was killed after being hit by a tractor in Gahmar area, they added.

The police was trying to nab the vehicle drivers.
