Two persons loot cash from Bhopal bank using ‘fake’ pistol

The incident took place in Arvind Vihar branch of UCO Bank, when two masked men entered the bank, scared the staff with a pistol and took away the cash, police said.

Two unidentified persons on Wednesday looted around Rs 5.7 lakh cash from a nationalised bank after scaring the staff with a pistol, which police suspect to be fake, in Bagsevania area of Bhopal.

The incident took place in Arvind Vihar branch of UCO Bank, when two masked men entered the bank, scared the staff with a pistol and took away the cash, police said.

Police are going through the CCTV grab to identify the duo, though it is not yet clear whether the incident was captured on surveillance cameras or not.

Hunt is on to nab the duo, a police inspector said.
