Two police personnel in the district were to day suspended for their alleged relations with criminals and sheltering them.
Police Inspector Suresh Gaydhani was suspended as he was not arresting one Jitu Gambhir, a local political worker, who was involved in the production of fake liquor, Krishna Prakash, District Police Chief said.

Gambhir was asked to leave the city whereas Gaydhani was suspended.
Whereas, another constable Laxman Phasale was suspended for robbery, police added.
