Two terrorists, Armyman killed in J&K encounter

The gunbattle broke out at Mirbagh area, 32 kms from Srinagar, when terrorists hiding there opened fire on the security forces.

Two terrorists and an army officer were killed and a jawan injured in an encounter between ultras and security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, official sources said.

The gunbattle broke out at Mirbagh area of the district, 32 kms from Srinagar, when terrorists hiding there opened fire on the security forces who cordoned off the area on Saturday morning, the sources said.

Two terrorists and Captain SP Singh were killed and a jawan injured in the firing, they said adding that two rifles and some ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.
