In yet another blow to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, two self-styled divisional commanders of the militant outfit were killed in separate gun battles with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
Fahadullah, a Pakistani national and "divisional commander" of LeT for north Kashmir, was killed in exchange of fire with security forces at village Wudder Payeen in Rajwar forest area of Kupwara, 100 kms from Srinagar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Muneer Khan said.
Khan said Fahadullah was elevated by the LeT after four of its top commanders were killed in an operation by security forces in Lolab valley of Kupwara on July 15.
An AK assault rifle, five magazines, 130 rounds and an under barrel grenade launcher were recovered from the slain militant, the officer said.
With this, the number of militants killed by security forces during the ongoing week-long operation in Rajwar has gone to three.
Earlier, two Pakistani militants - Abu Dujana and Abu Darda - were killed in separate encounters immediately after the commencement of the operation on August 1.

{{/usCountry}}Abu Usmaan was killed in exchange of fire during a search operation by 25 Rastriya Rifles (RR) and police in Mehrota, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Poonch, Ashkoor Wani said.
A pistol and ammunition have been found from the encounter site, he said.
