Two women killed in wall collapse in south Mumbai

Two women were killed when a boundary wall between two buildings collapsed on them on Monday in the Malabar Hill area of south Mumbai, police officials said.

Two women were killed when a boundary wall between two buildings collapsed on them on Monday in the Malabar Hill area of south Mumbai, police officials said.

The boundary wall between Khatau and Rocky Hill buildings on Malabar Hill collapsed on a building meant for servant quarters at the Rocky Hill building, they said.

Two women who lived in the quarters, Rohini Jadhav (16) and Pallavi (18), were severely injured and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, they were declared dead by doctors there.

Two others, Ramdin and Surendra Kanojia, also sustained minor injuries in the wall collapse, officials said.
