Chinese rescue vessels and Vietnamese ships continued the search on the foggy seas for survivors of the storm that hit in the middle of last week as it swept from the Philippines toward China, said officials.

Chanchu, which means 'pearl' in Cantonese, has now claimed more than 100 lives across Asia.
