Later, addressing a press conference at a farmhouse of the former chairman of Seed Development Corporation, Ajay Chandrakar at Chandhkuri, about 30 km from here, the firebrand Sadhvi said that she was not allowed to hold public meeting not because there was any threat to her life but because she is a threat for the BJP.

She further said that her Janshakti party would emerge as a viable alternative to the BJP, which has lost its character and has shunned its principles.

Describing the UPA as a coalition of negative parties, she said the UPA government would fall under its own weight and due to the anti-people policies pursued by it the mid-term Lok Sabha polls would be held in next six months.

Bharti said that she would do all in her capacity to convince the Muslim community for the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Showing her party’s flag, saffron in colour with a yellow sun at the centre, she said that she would serve her party and country with her sweat and blood. Emphasising that ideology was sacred to her, she said she would carry forward the ideology of the Jansangh of the 1960s through her new party.
