Umpire Mark Benson was rushed to hospital for tests after he suffered heart palpitations during the second cricket Test between India and South Africa at Kingsmead on Thursday.
The 48-year-old umpire felt palpitations when the fourth over of the day was being bowled and he was taken to hospital for an ECG as a precautionary measure, a Cricket South Africa spokesman said.
