Union Minister of State for Law, PC Thomas, who is making a record sixth bid to the Lok Sabha from Muvattupuzha constituency in Kerala, on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for the May 10 polls.

Thomas, accompanied by his Indian Federal Democratic Party (IFDP) State President Scaria Thomas, Secretary General Shankaranarayanan and BJP's Karshaka Morcha state President PJ Thomas, filed his nomination papers before the District Collector Gynanesh Kumar.
He had represented the constituency for five terms continuously since 1989.
