‘UP has taught me more than US’

The crowd had started turning restless, sometimes cheering crows taking them to be Rahul Gandhi’s chopper, when the Congress leader finally arrived, a good five hours behind schedule on Tuesday. HT reports.

The crowd had started turning restless, sometimes cheering crows taking them to be Rahul Gandhi’s chopper, when the Congress leader finally arrived, a good five hours behind schedule on Tuesday.

Vigorously waving at the crowd, he approached the lectern.

“I have done my graduation from the US and master’s from the UK. But my last seven years, spent interacting with the people in UP, have taught me the most. That gave me valuable insight into what UP thinks,” he said.
