UP seeks CBI probe into Aarushi murder

UP Chief Minister Mayawati says she would write to the Centre demanding a CBI probe into the murders of Aarushi and her family's domestic help Hemraj.

The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday sought a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the gruesome murder of teenager Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic help.

"I am going to write a letter to the centre demanding a CBI probe into the murders," Chief Minister Mayawati said in a statement she read out in Lucknow.
