IN THE last match against Madhya Pradesh, it was a bad weather, which denied Uttar Pradesh a point in the drawn tie. And, this time they are expected to go all out against Vidarbha at least to open their accounts in the point’s table.

The defeat against Rajasthan still hurts the Vidarbha team, and they will also be search of a point when their three-day tie of the Poly Umrigar Under-15 Trophy begins on Wednesday, at the Kamla Club Ground in Kanpur.
And as the nature of the wicket suggests, both the teams are expected to pay much attention on their batting strengths.
Vidarbha had failed to make it to the knock-out round last season and even after losing to Rajasthan in the opening tie, team coach AM Bhate expressed confidence over the boys’ fine show in this match.
“Except skipper Durgesh, all the boys are new in the team, but our batsmen are technically very sound. Batsmen are our main strength and we will try to make
full use of this capability,” he added.
The biggest worry of UP team is fielding as missing of as many as six catches against MP in the opening match had shattered their chances of getting even a single point in the match.
