UPA has no role in Q accounts row: PM

Manmohan Singh said there was no political interference in defreezing of Quattrocchi's London bank accounts.

Brushing aside Opposition charge, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday asserted that there was no political interference in the defreezing of London bank accounts of Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi.

"There was no political interference," Singh said told reporters after laying the foundation stone for the CBI complex in New Delhi.

He was asked whether there was any political interference in the Quattrocchi's case.
