The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre would crumble after the assembly elections in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and the results would have a varying effect on the political situation, BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said on Tuesday.

The results would lead to uncertainty for the UPA government in the future, he said in a meet-the-press programme in Kerala.

Referring to the performance of the UPA government, he said there were complaints from many quarters.

The 40 MPs of Samajwadi Party were at loggerheads with the government and the Bahujan Samajwadi Party was also keeping a distance.

The Telengkana Rashtriya Sabha had declared that their honeymoon with Congress was over, while the MDMK was leading a bitter campaign against DMK, he said.

There were differences on each issue in the Common Minimum Programme, which was again affecting the functioning of the government, he said.

"All is not well in UPA government and anything can happen after the elections. The differences between UPA and Left parties may aggravate," he said.
