A video doing the rounds on social media websites shows a police constable -- who was reportedly overweight -- in Rudrapur carrying a senior police officer on his back to prove his fitness.
Security forces usually lay out extensive obstacle courses to test their strength and fitness. But Uttarakhand Police have invented a bizarre new method to save themselves the trouble of laying out an entire course.

A video doing the rounds on social media websites shows a police constable -- who was reportedly overweight -- in Rudrapur carrying a senior police officer on his back to prove his fitness.
According to media reports, overweight constables were hauled up in Uddham Singh Nagar district and made to undergo fitness tests in front of the SSP. The 39-second video which became an online rage has attracted the public’s ire with many alleging that the constables were being harassed by senior personnel.
