Five persons were killed and six seriously injured when a van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Andhra's Nizamabad district on Monday.
The accident occurred at Komtapalligate near Ramayapet in the district, police said.

The mishap took place when the residents of Nizamabad city were returning from Hyderabad after attending a function, they said.
The seriously injured persons were shifted to Gandhi hospital, Secunderabad.
