Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram after he complained of breathing problems.

Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram after he complained of breathing problems.

The condition of the nonagenarian leader, admitted last night, is stable, hospital sources said.

Karunakaran, 91, will have to spend two days in hospital, they said.
