A veteran freedom fighter died after a brief illness at his native Manlandi village in the district in Muzaffarnagar, family sources said on Thursday.
He was 95.
Sukhbir Singh, a veteran freedom fighter, died on Wednesday. He had taken active part in freedom movement in 1941.

Singh's mortal remains will be consigned to flames with full official honour in the district, official sources said in Muzaffarnagar.
