Vice President Hamid Ansari arrived in Hyderabad this afternoon on a day’s visit to the city.

Andhra Pradesh Governor ND Tiwari, Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his ministerial colleagues among others were present at the Begumpet airport to receive Ansari.

The Vice President will release a book, ‘Muraqqa-e- Chughtai´, at a function organised by the Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy at Public Gardens, before leaving for New Delhi in the evening.
