The parties' motto? "Bhanvey Badal, bhanvey Raja, tu mota maal kamaaja, Punjab vaich key khaaja, tey chak dey phattey". Its land that is the issue of the day - the message is loud and clear.

Spelling his "agenda", Bhatti said: "The Land Grabbers and Dealers Party will work at winning the hearts of millions of unemployed, bankrupt, downtrodden and frustrated voters of Punjab.

We will make every effort to live up to our party slogan: 'Khetibadi hata devange, shopping centre bana devange'."

If voted to power, he said he would ensure all fertile land was sold to industrial houses. The party would train unemployed youth to be land dealers and teach peasants "gamlaa (flowerpot)" farming. Also, it would convert government school buildings to shopping malls, he promised.

Among the "land grabbers" were Brijesh Ahuja, Vinod Sharma, Lally Gill, Narinder, Gurtej Tej and Manoj Puri.

Well, the message is clear. Any voters?
