Indian fashion is going global and designer duo of Rahul Jain and Gunjan Arora, has taken it to the next level. Their Wearable Art - Series II is being currently showcased at Vindima Gallery, The Leela Kempinski Hotel in Dubai. Talking about the concept of ‘wearable art’, Jain says, “We have developed a new technique called fabric felting (spools of coloured thread placed in a pattern and bound together). Using threads as brushes, we weave an image on our canvas and use it as the garment, which is unique.”

Post that we made 10 pieces of kaftans, jackets, tunics and short dresses ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 13 lakhs, for the Dubai market.” The duo is set to take their designs to London, too. “We will showcase another set of wearable art at the Nehru Art Gallery in London,” says Jain.
