Woman commits suicide with four children

A woman commits suicide along with her four minor children in Ghazipur district due to acute financial restraints.

In a ghastly incident, financial constraint forced a woman to commit suicide along with her four minor children in Ghazipur district late on Monday night.

Prabhawati, wife of a mason Bujharat Yadav, poured kerosene over herself and her children and set them afire in Mirhati village.

The woman and her three children Chuttu (7), Chotu (5), and Santosh (3) died on the spot, while Abhishek (10) succumbed to injuries in hospital on Tuesday morning.

Police said acute financial crisis forced Prabhawati to take this extreme step.
