The 30-year-old woman, identified as Laxmi Bakhla, gave birth to triplets at the government hospital at Rajgangpur.

The mother had normal delivery, Dr Arti Satpathy, the attending doctor, said.

All babies and their mother were doing fine, the she said.

Laxmi, wife of Manoj Bakhla, was a resident of Garbhana village under Rajgangpur police station.

The couple had a eight year-year-old son.
