A 30-year-old woman brutally murdered her husband after he came back home in a drunken state, police said.

The incident occurred at Bagu Krishna Nagar colony in Ghaziabad, around Sunday midnight.

“Last night, after Mahendra Singh came back home drunk, he had an argument with wife Rinki. In the morning, we found him dead,” said R.C. Gautam, victim’s relative.

Police said Rinki has been arrested for murder. “A case has been registered under section 302 of IPC against her,” SP (City) Rahul Yadvendu said.
