The much-delayed Bill providing for 33 per cent reservation for women in legislatures was on Monday introduced in Rajya Sabha amid dramatic scenes and protests by Samajwadi Party members.

As Law Minister H R Bhardwaj got up to introduce the Bill, SP member Abu Asim Azmi, who along with his party colleagues was in the Well protesting against anti-North Indian remarks by MNS chief Raj Thackeray, tried to snatch the copy of the Bill.
