"We (the Mahila Morcha members) have met Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and he has assured us that the Bill would be passed soon," Sethi told reporters here.

Sethi, who is here to participate in a seminar on domestic violence, said the women's wing of BJP has been making every effort for legislating the Women's Reservation Bill.

The Morcha has played a key role in bringing awareness among the women but more has to be done in providing legal aid to women in cases of abuse, she said.

Though women have been taking part in every field that was once considered to be a male bastion, there are many grey areas where general awareness on their rights should be created, Sethi added.
