The challengers—Mandira Bedi, Shraddha Nigam, Aashka Goradia, Rupali Ganguli, Gurdeep Kohli and Tasneem Sheikh—shared their ‘experience of a lifetime’ after shooting for the special episode in Malaysia. The stunts include being handcuffed underwater and finding the keys while the clock ticks or, in Round 2, being enclosed in a glass case while an assortment of centipede, mice and spiders are poured in over you. Or, say, a stunt hanging from a helicopter… would you dare?

Tasneem Sheikh (Mohini of Kyunki….) damaged her eardrum while performing in the first round. “I love doing things which people just don’t think of doing. I don’t know swimming but I went ahead underwater to perform the stunt and damaged by eardrum,” she said. Incidentally, she just married this Wednesday, her love Sameer Nerurkar. Taseema is quick to add, “But one good thing happened after it — I learnt swimming!”

The only other person who managed to make it to the final round with Bedi was Shraddha Nigam (of Krishna Arjun fame). She said, “It was a scary lifetime experience. I felt creepy in the insect round but I did it sportingly. I still have nightmares about it.” She is busy shooting for a Pakistani show in Dubai these days. Shraddha is anxious to watch the episode which will be aired on Sony TV this Friday.

“In my a soap you are character but here I was the real Rupali not Dr Simran (of Sanjeevni) or my character in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. It was the most wonderful experience unlike my TV shows. There we have a shield of make-up but here it was just real me. But I goofed up in the first round by a fraction of a second,” said Rupali Ganguli.

Aashka Goradia (Kumud of Kkusum fame) was also out in the first round.
She says, “One should not panic. People are frightened to watch this show but I went for it. It’s another matter that I lost in the first round and had to go home!”
