WSF organisers regret the rape of woman delegate

The India Committee members of the WSF regretted the alleged rape of South African woman delegate in a Mumbai hotel.

The India Committee members of the WSF on Monday regretted the rape of South African woman delegate by a fellow delegate in a hotel in south Mumbai.

Before the beginning of a seminar on 'Discrimination and Oppression' on Monday evening, the organisers regretted that an incident of this nature happened.

They also said that on Tuesday at 12:00 noon there would be a rally opposing the sexual harassment against women.

Earlier, in a press release also they said that they were shocked at the incident and they extend all their support to the delegate. They also demanded immediate action by the police.
